Manager trainees are trained in the complete operation
of our Quik Print centers. Duties include opening and closing of centers,
scheduling and tracking of customer orders, occasional supervision of
staff, maintaining adequate inventory, accounts receivable, cost control,
inside sales, vendor relations, maintenance etc. Manager trainees must
also be able to perform all customer service/key operator functions.
Customer Service/Key operators focus on production using
high-speed copiers, but must also be able to perform some of the duties
of the front counter sales employees, delivery driver and manager trainee
when necessary. Key operators should also be skilled in basic copier maintenance
and be able to maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
Press Operators - Do you have a willingness to learn and grow, an eye for detail, and mechanical aptitude? If so, consider a career with us as an offset press operator. We will provide you with the full training necessary to learn the printing trade inside and out.
Quik Print operators earn some of the highest wages in the industry. The benefits package is comprehensive and reward is based on merit. The main duties of a press operator are to produce excellent quality printing in a fast paced organization, perform basic maintenance on equipment, and keep their work areas neat and organized. We run small format 1-color, 2-color and 4-color sheetfed presses. Our equipment is up to date and well maintained. The presses we are currently running include:
• AB Dick 9810/9910/9920 (with T-Heads)
• AB Dick 9985 (2-Color Twin Tower)
• Ryobi 3304 (4-Color)
• Ryobi 524 (4-Color)
Account Representatives are responsible for generating
growth through finding and developing new accounts as well as servicing
existing key accounts. Common activities include cold calls, scheduling
appointments, sales presentations, quotes, soliciting and submitting contracts,
project coordination, and strengthening customer relations. Each sales
person works in a protected territory and is expected to meet reasonable
minimum new sales goals as well as overall increase in sales.
Graphics/Pre-Press - Digital production of documents
on a Mac or PC platform using some or all of the current versions of the
following programs: Quark Xpress, Publisher, Pagemaker, InDesign, Illustrator,
Freehand and Photoshop. Should have experience in preflighting supplied
files, electronic trapping, scanning and troubleshooting. Responsible
for maintaining system performance as well as backing up files and systems.
Bindery/Finishing - Each Quik Print production facility
has a full bindery department which includes folders, cutters, multibinders,
collators, slitters, shrink tunnels, drills, power GBC punches, laminators,
numbering units, etc. Bindery employees should be proficient in most of
our equipment and able to learn any new equipment.
